We invite you to enjoy our two wonderful holiday homes set in beautiful, secluded Cornish countryside, each property with exclusive use of a private indoor swimming pool and sauna. We are to be found a couple of miles from the southern foothills of Bodmin Moor and only 4 miles from the market town of Liskeard -- far enough from the hustle and bustle to benefit from country calm, but conveniently located for trips to the traditional seaside town of Looe on Cornwall's east coast, and the picturesque village of St. Cleer with its two pubs and a renowned farm shop.

Both homes, available all seasons of the year, provide comfortable accommodation, tastefully furnished and very well equipped for comfort and convenience, but with a charming rustic feel. Bedrooms offer en-suite facilities and we have ground floor amenities suitable for disabled people. And each property is set within its own beautiful grounds, with private garden and parking.

Expansively overlooking an open gravel drive area with ample parking, the house is set within a green landscape which compliments the house's natural stone and ivy-coated frontage.

The oak front door leading into the property wends via a vestibule to the centrepiece of the dwelling: the great hall with its flagstone floor and house-height beamed ceiling. The large granite fireplace with woodburner is complimented by comfortable sofas, TV / DVD and CD Player, and everything is overlooked by a minstrels gallery which leads from the great hall to the first floor sleeping accommodation.

The large, slate floored kitchen / dinning room is competently equipped with a dishwasher, washer / dryer, microwave, fridge / freezer, and solid fuel Rayburn (plus electric) cookers. The kitchen, fitted out with oak units, has a large, inviting refectory table and benches. Patio doors open out from the kitchen onto the side lawns.

The property has five bedrooms: two downstairs (one twin designed for disabled people in mind, with a walk-in wet room suite) and doors to the forecourt; and a separate bunk room with 3' beds.

Upstairs, off the minstrels' gallery, are three bedrooms. In the west wing: a double room and one twin bedroom which share an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath. In the east wing: a master double room with dressing room and en suite shower-room.

The Manor has its own private indoor swimming pool (30' x 13' x 3'6"deep), sauna and changing room with shower, WC, and basin. It has a good-sized enclosed garden with barbeque, gravelled forecourt and private parking. The downstairs of the property is suitable for wheelchair users.

In summary: the property sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms; it has 3 bath / Shower rooms. Cot and high chair available. Solid fuel central heating is via a Rayburn and a woodburner.

Down a short drive laid into green lawns is a picturesque 16th-century farmhouse with Victorian extensions, restored with loving care and much enthusiasm by its current owners, who turned a working farmhouse into an extremely comfortable holiday retreat, a fusion of traditional form and modern function.

From the porch into the house it is immediately apparent that the property is agreeably furnished with many homely touches. The dining hall with a door overlooking the rear garden has a sofa for relaxing and a dining table and chairs.

Going through to the oak-beamed living room you are greeted by the granite inglenook fireplace with woodburner and original bread oven. The room has ample sofas as well as a TV / DVD and CD player.

Off the living room is a stunning slate-floored, well equipped kitchen / dinning room with a utility room (dishwasher, washer / drier, and fridge / freezer).

Sleeping accommodation is available on the ground and first floors. Downstairs there is a twin room through to en-suite shower room / wet room suite. This supports disabled access. Upstairs, via a boxed staircase from the living room, is a double bedroom with dressing room and en suite bathroom. Up the main staircase are two bedrooms: a master double bed with TV and a single bedroom. Both share an en suite bathroom suite, with bath, WC and bidet.

Out of the kitchen door, across a gravelled seating area is a huge building which houses the indoor heated swimming pool (24'x 12'x 3'6" deep), sauna and shower-room, as well as a games room with table tennis, pool table and darts.
